For 50 years, WRRG has been the musical heartbeat of Triton College and the surrounding community. Since our first broadcast on April 28, 1975, we have been a non-commercial radio station dedicated to delivering diverse music, campus news, and local events to our listeners.

About Us
By day, WRRG brings you the latest in Indie music, featuring emerging artists and fresh sounds. As night falls and throughout the weekends, we expand our lineup to include Jazz, Underground/Progressive Rock, R&B/Soul, Blues, Hard Rock, Industrial/Goth, and Heavy Metal—offering something you won’t hear on commercial radio.

Passionate about music? Then come spin with us! We run a Radio Broadcasting class through Triton College’s School of Continuing Education in the fall and spring as course MCM E01 201. This class is open to students, staff, faculty and community members.

WRRG is always looking for DJs. If you want to DJ and are unable to take the class, we will train you. Contact Kelli Lynch at wrrg@hotmail.com or call 708-456-0300, Ext. 3462.

WRRG is more than just a radio station. We are a hub for college news and a key source of information on Triton College events, including important registration updates and campus happenings.
